PayPal supports Egypt and Lebanon this year






Elias Ghanem announced Director for the Middle East and North Africa in PayPal that it will support both Egypt and Lebanon this year finally.

The buyers and sellers will be able to in these two countries from carrying out financial transactions via PayPal by exporting their bank accounts from the two banks. Add to users of GCC and Jordan will be able to open a merchant account also.

The customers of the countries, Yemen, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria can also open accounts as customers only.

PayPal and delayed access to the Middle East to support e-commerce and online payment, and this step comes to supporting traded funds to buy goods and services from electronic stores and individuals.

According to Ghanem, the volume of e-commerce in the Middle East reached $ 9 billion last year and is expected to grow to up to $ 15 billion by 2015.

The share of PayPal currently only 5% market and with the continued support of additional states it seeks to double its share in just three years.
